There are many things that will take your breath away at the 9/11 Memorial in New York, an underground museum on the site where the World Trade Center once stood.

You can stand under the knotted row of steel beams from the 93rd to 96th floors of the North Tower, bent as lightly as drinking straws as the underside of American Airlines Flight 11 passed through, leaving a grinning maw on the side of the building on that perfect blue morning of September 11, 2001.
