My favorite gaming headphones got their first discount

The Asus Cetra Open Wireless Headphones are some of the best I’ve tested, despite being open-back headphones. Their drivers are located outside of your ear, allowing external sounds to mix with the sound coming from your console. Some gamers might not like this, but it’s good for me as someone who likes to be aware of my surroundings while gaming or listening to podcasts. They’re $22 off at Amazon and Best Buy and cost $206.99.

In addition to great sound and long battery life (and surprisingly deep customization via a mobile or browser app), the Cetra Open comes with a smart 2.4GHz USB-C transmitter with a built-in pass-through charging port. In other words, you can charge while you game instead of giving up a USB-C port for audio. The built-in port supports pass-through charging up to 60W, but cannot be used as a data port.

Cetra Open is suitable for both Steam Deck, PC, Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5, as well as your phone. They’re easy to connect via Bluetooth and use to listen to music and podcasts, and they also come with a reflective strip that physically connects them behind your neck for improved visibility and stability if you want to run with them.
