Phil Parkinson demands Wrexham do better after draw with Burnley

Wrexham take on another relegated Premier League side, leaders West Ham United, on Friday night (20:00 BST).

There are doubts over the availability of Max Cleworth and Josh Windass after injuries against Burnley, but Parkinson hopes the blows are not too serious.

Defender Cleworth came on after half an hour, but striker Windass did not come on in the second half.

“Max looks like his hamstring has pulled and Josh has taken a knock to his calf,” Parkinson added.

“[Max] In fact, he felt it at the beginning of the half and we kept telling him, “You’re okay,” and he wanted to stay. I don’t think it’s too serious, but we’ll see.

“Josh took a hit to the calf, and if you made one change in the first period, then in the second period you only have two changes.

“He probably could have gone and tried it, but we just decided to make a change then.”
