Royal Caribbean Cuts Allure of the Seas Cruise Short
The Allure of the Seas was set to sail a five-night cruise on January 10, 2027. Royal Caribbean has now shortened it to a four-night voyage. The ship departs from PortMiami in South Florida.

What Changed With the Itinerary?
The original cruise included stops in both Mexico and the Bahamas. Nassau has been dropped from the schedule. Now, the only port of call is Cozumel, Mexico.
Royal Caribbean said the change was needed as part of its planning process. The company noted that it “sometimes requires flexibility due to scheduling, port agreements or operational needs.” They also added, “We know how much effort goes into planning your vacation and apologize for the inconvenience.”
What Are Your Options If You’re Booked?
If you have a reservation on this sailing, Royal Caribbean is giving you several choices. Here’s a breakdown of what’s available.
Stay on the New Four-Night Cruise
You can keep your reservation on the shortened sailing. Your cruise fare will be adjusted to the lower rate. If you already paid more, the difference will be refunded to your original payment method.
Note that this fare adjustment only covers the cruise fare itself. It does not apply to taxes, fees, or gratuities.
Switch to a Different Allure of the Seas Sailing
Royal Caribbean is letting guests move to other short cruises on the Allure of the Seas. These sailings depart from PortMiami in late January and early February 2027. You’ll be placed in a comparable stateroom to what you originally booked.
Your fare will either be protected at the new cruise rate or prorated for the difference in nights. Whichever option costs less is what you’ll pay. Any overpayment will be refunded to your original payment method.
Get Help With Transportation Costs
If you already bought non-refundable travel to get to Miami, Royal Caribbean will reimburse you. This includes flights, train tickets, and rental cars. You can receive up to $200 per person for domestic travel changes or up to $400 per person for international travel.

You can also rebook on any other Royal Caribbean sailing at the current going rate. Or, if you’d rather not cruise at all, you can request a full refund of your cruise fare.
