AAA A man has been arrested three days after he allegedly attacked his parents and brother with an ax or hatchet in Gippsland. Peter O’Ryan. Peter O’Ryan, 48, is alleged to have entered his family home in Cowis Road, Tyers, 160 kilometers east of Melbourne, about 12.30pm on Saturday when an argument broke out. It is alleged O’Ryan first attacked his brother, then attacked his mother and father before fleeing the house on foot. O’Ryan’s mother Janine, 74, father Keith, 76, and younger brother Paul, 47, remain in The Alfred Hospital. Police launched a massive search of the area on Saturday but were unable to find O’Ryan. On Wednesday, officers were called to reports of a man loitering suspiciously in the area of Tyers-Walhalla Road shortly before 9 p.m. O’Ryan will now be questioned over the incident.
