Air India and IHG Hotels & Resorts enter into loyalty partnership


Air India And IHG Hotels & Resorts announced a new partnership that will allow Air India members Maharaja Club earn and redeem points during your stay at IHG hotels, as well as give IHG One Awards Members (of which there are 160 million members worldwide) have the opportunity to exchange their points for Maharaja Points.

Billed as a “landmark” agreement, the new partnership brings together IHG’s global portfolio of more than 7,100 hotels in more than 100 countries with onea network of global air carriers on five continents.

Through this partnership, Air India Maharaja Club members will be able to earn Maharaja Points when staying at IHG Hotels & Resorts around the world. Members will earn 2 Maharaja Points for every $1 spent at most IHG hotels and resorts. They will also have the option to convert their IHG One Rewards points into Maharaja points, with 1,000 IHG ​​One Rewards points redeemable for 200 Maharaja points. The minimum redemption threshold is 1,000 IHG ​​One Rewards points.

The partnership builds on IHG One Rewards’ commitment to provide greater flexibility to its growing member base, as well as further expanding the Maharaja Club partner ecosystem and opportunities for members to earn Maharaja Points on top of airfare spend.

Special starting offer for participants

To mark the launch of the partnership, Maharaja Club members will be eligible to earn 3x Maharaja Points on eligible stays between 15 September and 31 December 2026, with no blackout dates applicable during this period. To take advantage of the offer, participants must register for the promotion.
